We are not just a restaurant - Blue Nile is primarily about a celebration of Eritrean and Ethiopian cuisine.

We named our restaurant Blue Nile in tribute to a great African river that is common to many of the countries in the region of of East Africa. Blue Nile is the river that unites us all. “We want to share the beauty of the foods in our neck of the woods with our customers.”

The people of Eritrea and Ethiopia are renowned for their hospitality and at Blue Nile, we strive to uphold that reputation by extending to all our customers a service they will never forget.
